Update: In March, MN sued DOJ to get info about the Renee Good, Alex Pretti, & Julio Sosa-Celis shootings. Case paused awaiting DOJ's 6/4 responses to MN's administrative letters seeking that info. Hennepin Co (MN) says DOJ responses were still "obstructi[ve]." Will file amended complaint 6/18.

This is so dumb. Because if the DA has that policy, and everyone knows it has that policy, it will make every prosecution seem that much more credible, even if it might be a weak case. (It's like the "vouching.")
The police unions just made EVERY case weaker because now everyone knows it.
War crimes tribunals will be a necessary part of the overall reconstruction effort that follows this administration.

The Republican DA of Nevada's Washoe County adopted a rule that prosecutors can only file a charge when they are confident they can prove guilt for that charge beyond a reasonable doubt.
Police unions didn't like it, and helped a challenger in today's primary. The challenger appears to have won.
