“Masking” in #ADHD and autism = consciously or unconsciously suppressing traits to meet expectations. Awareness of masking is important—but the goal isn’t “stop masking completely.” It’s increasing flexibility: → When is masking useful? → When is it costly? → Where can you reduce it safely?
