Growing up in the mountain west is interesting because sometimes you accidentally infodump and write an entire paper about wildlands firefighting from memory and it's only 1000+ words later do you realize you lost the prompt you started with and gotta backtrack. Tell me why no one makes *affordable* hiking pants that are made for us tall ladies??? Why is everything a 28 inch inseam? Also, why is everything low rise? I want pants that actually cover my ankles and I don't have to pull them up every 30 seconds while climbing 🥲

Exploring the basalt fields, lava tubes, and caves was both incredibly rewarding and extremely fun. I love being outside and exploring our world. I highly recommend visiting and checking out this incredible nature preserve!
