While taking breaks from packing books and lifting boxes, I built the beginnings of a Homer reading environment that uses @layers.pub for the text and annotations. It's just using the JSON as a storage format but actual ATProto is coming after more books are packed!
And to everyone alpha testing my number theory game, I'll be incorporating your feedback in a few days after my short move!
This is such a brilliant idea!
Just got blocked by 20 people. I think that's a daily record for me!
Pretty basic reading environment for Homer, the main difference being both the text and morphological analysis is being served up over ATproto from a local PDS.
Same!
I wasn't able to attend #ATmosphereConf but if I had been, I would have talked about the reading environment I'm building that will use atproto for bookmarks, notes, annotations, and possible even the texts themselves.
With the unexpected move, I can't even attend #ATmosphereConf remotely but I hope to catch up with people and projects later.
Move is going well but the #ATmosphereConf #ATScience FOMO is real!
Packing my books and realize: I have *so* many Cambridge Textbooks in Linguistics :-)
