It's almost a year since I released Korter 1996, today I'm cleaning up some of my last stuff from the apartment that inspired it. 🧵
Whatever your skill or quirk is, there's something unique I think everyone has that they can express. The pixel art, writing and sound were just the tools I used. If I'd specialised in one of them, it wouldn't have been better, just a different challenge to solve. Things I want to say to inner me ❤️
It's taken time for me to adjust to this reality where something I'm proud of is out there. Something that noone else could have made. I tend to think that others would do a better job, since they have more skill and consistency. But with this project, I get the feeling it had to be me. 🧵
This was the sketch. I think I'm getting better at going from pencil to pixels, finding the right size to have space for the details.
