Went and saw Backrooms with my cousin. There were a lot of really interesting ideas, storylines, and themes, but it seemed like they stopped writing the script before getting to the part where they all get connected and loose ends get tied up.
A lot of things just kinda... happened.
Some extremely sage advice here. Something I often tell folks when I'm teaching them something new is "we all start somewhere." Sure, your first attempt will suck. But if you put in a little bit of time each week and work your way through the cringe, you will get good eventually.
Discovered a new type of airport luck: my connecting gate is the gate right next to the one my first flight pulled up to.
One of my own examples is orchestration. 6 years ago, I knew very little about it other than what I learned studying for AP Music Theory. But I decided to take the plunge knowing it would take a long time to be even halfway decent at it.
