For any new or prospective plant parents out there: The fastest possible way to kill a plant that lives in your house is overwatering. Seriously, it’s much more fatal much faster than underwatering. I know you’re excited to take care of your new friends, but they gotta drink it all first!

By overwatering I don’t mean the amount of water you give your plant at once btw. When watering, it’s actually best to completely soak all the soil until water runs out of the pot’s drainage holes (which pots should have). I’m talking about frequency. Let the soil get a chance to dry!
