To put it another way, I think Musk’s purchase of Twitter has helped reify the vague pundit instinct that Trump in some way channels the will of an inchoate true Volk, because now the voice of the Volk speaks through X, the everything app
Calling him a degenerate is also an important rhetorical move! There’s still far too much reverence for Musk, even among his critics. We have to dispel the idea that he’s in any way a person to be respected or admired.

Well, TBH, given US criminal military history, it IS a strange question to be asked since we ROUTINELY kill children, women, men, call it "collateral damage" and move on. Did they ask Dubbya? Nope. Kissinger? Nope. The problem: NO ONE IS HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR THE DEPRAVITY OF THESE CHOSEN WARS.
Why would they ask that flags be taken away?
