"What is it about humanity that compels us to rush toward anything and everything that might give us a glimpse blood or pain?" - from Perchance to Dream.
Posted one of the first short stories I've ever written in all its awkward, clunky, sloppy, amateurish glory. I discovered a hard copy while going through some old files and decided to share it with my supporters. It's a delightful mess that shows how far I've come as a writer.
After finding "Nights of Sorrow," I decided to go through my old files and see what else I could discover. That gave me many delighted smiles. The greatest treasures turned out to be the original (and I mean ORIGINAL) drafts of Jaludin's Road and The Dragon Bone Flute. Will post them someday.

Oof. The feels in Vox Machina this season.
Just had a HUGE revelation in working on Tears of Rage! Now I need to figure out the right time to make that reveal.
We're starting a new Gallowglas Army thing. Every Monday, I'll give you a new challenge. Just a stupid, silly thing to go out in the world to do.
Challenge 1: Sometime this week, go up to a total stranger - that is, someone you have NEVER met before - and ask them if you can have a piggyback ride.
If you need a bit of relief from the Monday Terror Gods, I've posted the next installment of Perchance to Dream to my primary two places on teh interwebz.

Tonight's livestream topic: Finding Creativity in Discomfort.
I am highly irritated I had to drive to this coffee shop. I miss the subway and things being within walking distance.
