If they do address the cliffhanger, it annoying for writers to have to deal with other writers baggage. The likely option where they ignore it will still result in some folks being confused & some fans annoyed. Ultimately, a good story will win all. It’s just a bad business choice imo.

New interview about Again Again! I talked with Jessie Gender about the trans cinema wave, working with Lilly Wachowski, and filming in the Pacific Northwest! youtu.be/FgRNQszRScc?...
So question because I’ve seen people argue both ways and I’m curious (this is not me saying my own thoughts, just asking for others to be clear). If you read Jax from Amazing Digital Circus as trans, do you read the character as trans fem or trans masc? Potentially either? Enby? And why?
So I didn’t make my point clear. I’m not saying new writers should address that cliffhanger. They prob won’t. I’m saying, either way, it’s baggage a special would have tied off, which would then make DW more attractive to new producers/distributors, which is what the BBC is looking for right now.
