One of my anxieties as a lepidoptera appreciator is that someone someday is going to gift me a box of dead bugs to hang on my wall. >_< It's super not my thing. Photos and paintings are much better!

I think sometimes people assume that everyone who likes bugs also likes having them dead for decoration ;u;' I appreciate the scientific and educational uses for taxidermy, and also know people who have kept bugs as pets and choose to honour them this way. But I don't like the collecting thing. :c

Haven't been out much lately but there are some butterfly and moth friends around! A couple of species I haven't yet seen before in this area so that's nice!
