Truth, when I was working on my MFA at UNO, I took several creative non-fiction classes and was working on a memoir about my scary marriage to not-very-good-ex. I didn't think it was shitty, but I don't know who would have cared. Didn't finish MFA (moved), and ex died. Binned it after 100+ pages.

Honestly, 90% of memoirs I've ever read have made me want to never read another memoir again. I just periodically... forget.
I have VIVID memories of this from when I was a kid and my mom had to gently explain what was going on.
