Overwhelmed by the response here. I want to say something.
I wanted to be a Knicks or Yankees beat writer growing up. I made different, more pragmatic choices. I regret nothing.
But: if this meant something to you, and we got to share A Game Like That, you made a kid’s dream come true. Thank you.
I started writing my recap down 21 in the second quarter because I didn’t want to stay up late.
I just kept typing. I have not gone back and read or edited it. It’s 3400 words.
Also, my house lost power when Castle was at the line at the end.
