The parties of divide and conquer have thoroughly conquered themselves.
This is why the investigation into the death of Kumanjayi White- and all investigations into Indigenous deaths in custody - should be conducted by an authority with a deep understanding of racism from an Indigenous perspective, and at arms length from police.
Great to see investigative journalism win. The costs, though, financially, emotionally, in terms of time and exhaustion, are too much. We desperately need to properly overhaul defamation laws in this country. #auspol
From page to stage. I never expected my book Dear Son - Letters and Reflections from First Nations Fathers and Sons to become a play. I’m so happy it has. It is something special.
If you won’t get a chance to see the play, there’s always the book:

I’ve just seen the play and now I’m going to read the book. So much food for thought.
Always admired Thomas Mayo during The Voice campaign so decided to read his book. ‘Always was Always will be’ Should be compulsory and mandated reading in all secondary schools. I’m building a fire in my belly’ Thomas. I’m never giving up.
