Heck he even made his own "Recolour Sonic OCs" with Surge and Kit. It was a whole meta-commentary on Sonic fans with an arrogant and toxic mindset, thinking they know best.

So… in the IDW Sonic comics.. if the mystery villain is Starline, and if one takes into account what the villain is doing, and Starline’s previous plot….
The current plot in IDW Sonic might be kinda brilliant!
