It is feeding on the flowers of the immortelle tree. Each colony has a dominant male which mates with most of the female, there may be about 15 to 30 female and only 3 to 4 male. They build a long hanging woven nest and lay two blue-grey eggs, which hatches. In 15 to 19 days.
