maybe it's that i associate it with gacha and it tastes poisonous as a result. i feel it with karia and to a lesser extent yumia's designs even though i like benitama's work... for an open world adventure game they'd be hell to run around in after a couple hours

i think in reality i'm just a different no-better kind of otaku but for floofy dresses and comfy layers which is why i dress like that too (and no shade to anyone wearing streetwear like karia either, it's very cute). anyway *walks away and trips over the hololive designification curse tile*
seeing a tendency in me to assume characters / their stories are going to be vapid or uninteresting if they look like hololive (attention-grab details over design cohesion, outfit wouldn't ever be practical to wear, thighbelts and such) though im not sure its been the case? strange judgment
