I would like to note that the same as when I donate or pass on hand-me-downs, I am very conscious that I don’t put trash on the curb (except in the bins on garbage day). I only put out things with life left in them.

The newsletter preview went out the other day! I’ve since had to pull a couple tumblers that had cracks (maybe from rough handling coming back from the last market?!) but almost all the things in the preview will be in the shop next week! www.patreon.com/brittwilson/...
So I tossed them out. But twice since that day I’ve found more random trash magazines on my curb, and someone dumped non-compostable bags of garbage in my compost bin 3x now as well.

I’m feeling terrible, headachey and exhausted. Telling my husband, worried I might be “coming down with something” until I realized it was 6pm and all I’d eaten all day was two graham cracker cookies and a cup of coffee.
I’m not sure where I’m going with this other than to whine that I’m really annoyed that someone is messing with the Neighbourhood Curb System, which we all love because who doesn’t love bringing home random goodies after a walk around the block?!
It was a couple random old magazines and some outdated course books on childcare??? I don’t know who put them there, but that is NOT how the curb system works and all these books were trash. Outdated course books?! The magazines were also old and not even good collage material.
We have one of those neighbourhoods where you can put things out on the curb that you don’t want for other people to take. Seems pretty standard, I was pretty sure most people know how the system works.
This is a free newsletter post btw, so feel free to go snoop around with no obligation to sign up for anything or even shop the update. There’s just some pretty stuff to look at if you’re in the mood.
A couple weeks ago I put out a bunch of books. We have some little free libraries but none of them nearby. Anyway, my curb books usually don’t last long. But I noticed a couple days later that stuff was still there. When I went to look what wasn’t taken I realized it wasn’t mine?!
