The principal point is that the idea of "publishing" in law is about 400 years out of date now, and that needs to change. Quickly. I've been thinking & saying this for a while, and the last few days just makes me think I'm right all the more.

Disagree with lots of this, including the central argument, but it's very thoughtful. The best single idea in it is this: "Any platform that uses an algorithm more complex than ‘people you follow in chronological order’ to be treated as a publisher, and held to account for content."
