My son also took APUS. He went on to major in mechanical engineering. I'm fairly certain he didn't get anything in college that approached the soft skills the humanities instill with his heavy math and science course load that the APUS course provided
Professor, I rarely disagree with you. I do here based on my own experience. My APUS class in 1978 was a great experience with a great teacher. I probably took the test (don't remember) I went on to major in history. Learned how to think critically. I'm sure in your position you see the downside
