I was shocked when my recent blood tests showed some problems (anemia & possible malnutrition)—it made me feel vindicated. Completely passed my POTS test that I hoped/expected to fail though during the same visit.

Doing the right thing and following through will lose you friends and that's something we all have to live with even though you'll never like it and it's never comfortable. That's a counterculture value. You will lose the people who won't accept a need to commit so you need to find your friends.

You are smart & beautiful. Do not ever doubt that you are doing what is right - morally, as well as practically. Protecting yourself, your loved ones & your community does not need to be justified. We ALL deserve accessibility, health & safety.

ok last post on this: I feel like a lot of the attempt to force mind body approaches into pwLC and pwME is driven by people’s anxiety about seeing disabled women engage with the mechanical nature of human existence. and perhaps disabled people more broadly behaving unspiritually.

They know damn well that this isn't going to benefit people or reduce "fraud". The whole point is just to not pay for the people who can't meet the administrative burden.
