Have just returned from the Tangihanga for Ta Hirini Moko Mead. For over 20 yrs he generously gave of his time.We spent many hours talking about weaving, art, teaching. I will miss his wisdom & unwavering interest in mine and Sams life of Māori Art & care of us & of our whanau. Kia au to moe Matua😢💜
