Congratulations to the great city of New York, their awesome mayor, their wonderful multicultural population. May their city know the great joy they all deserve.
Major League ballpark #49.
Yesterday I reviewed this piece of art from Chris and Lindsay Dial. Finally, my branding is making headway.

In the very first major league game I ever attended (Red Sox hosting Yankees, June 1969), I saw two future Hall of Famers play. One was Carl Yastrzemski. I wonder if anyone can get this without looking it up. (Still holding out hope for Vicente Romo, but it wasn't him.)
10/10

The second Hall of Famer, may he rest in peace.
Well, here is some news. My two-year (and counting) Satchel Paige Project has been recognized with SABR's Baseball Research Award for 2026. This endeavor has been tremendously rewarding to me, but knowing that other people have appreciated it too is deeply gratifiying.
