“Hello! You’ve probably been seeing all our wafer-thin shadow-docket rulings with long dissents attached and saying, Well, after reading this, I know why these rulings are wrong, but why are they right?”
E.M. Forster would have described this as a muddle and it would take the whole book to piece together exactly what had happened.
we’ve all seen this movie before policing a group for “normal” behavior when the ~bad~ behaviors are merely social preference is dystopian if you care about things made by people, you won’t put them in a fucking panopticon that tries to deduce their goodness by fuckin PAUSE LENGTH
Know who's more likely to be a "Fetterman" if they win their primaries? Chris Pappas in New Hampshire. Haley Stevens in Michigan. Angie Craig in Minnesota. Cindy Burbank or Dan Osborn in Nebraska. Josh Turek in Iowa. But I don't hear a damn word from people on this app warning about them.
I'm adding this as information, NOT to justify their outrageous lie. The editorial has now been corrected, including adding a notice at the bottom.
"Landlord" is a company; the rent was unpaid because the previous company had major violations in apartment upkeep (and taxes to the city and shit like not paying electricity bills). quite a read.
