I think it's hard even for raging leftists like myself to understand just how captured the media is in this country. Nothing you read or see on the news is based on things that have happened or their importance, it's driven by which politicians and journalists are in a whatsapp chat together

Can I just ask (please be gentle with me, I’m genuinely just asking) why has this not really been getting much coverage or discussion? It’s an absolutely appalling story, and it shouldn’t take a Zack Polanski retweet to highlight.
