We (the extremely online and others who hate AI) don't like it because it's yet another example of shoving AI into a product for no reason. You want an algorithmic feed? Sure, no problem. Do you need datacenter-heavy AI to do it? No, you absolutely do not.

I have spent the past 3 hours reading Duke slander/UConn envy on BlueSky, Reddit, Twitter & the Boneyard. It has been so good for my soul. Now, finally, I am ready to break out the good stuff – Lagavulin Distiller's Edition – and surf on over to the Syracuse board. That's where the best pain is.
