Tape Extractor is doing a nice job today, found some Descent 3 source code dating back to mid 1998
Check out our archive to learn more about this tape, and feel free to reach out if you'd like to schedule a screening of the full video! Ever wonder what it was like to be a fly on the wall at NoA when the GCN and GBA were being launched? Wonder no more! archive.hitsave.org/ark:/78322/5...

Shout-out to whoever had to write a strategy guide for Wario Ware
The above footage was found on Nintendo Game Previews Part# 50967, a marketing/merchandising DVD from February 2003! Check out our archive to learn more about the disc and watch the rest of its contents! archive.hitsave.org/ark:/78322/6...

Happy birthday to the Game Boy Advance, which released in the USA on this day in 2001! Can you believe Nintendo's potent little handheld is a quarter-century old this year? We feel old.
The platform received quite a few upgrades over its lifetime too: the GBA SP came on the scene with a front-lit (and later back-lit) screen, rechargeable battery, and trendy clamshell design! Oh and let's not forget that Nintendo had the *courage* to ditch the 3.5mm jack years before Apple did!
Andrew Borman
Sorry but we'll never shy away from an excuse to highlight one of the rarest items in our archive: Check out some clips of Nintendo veteran Steve Okimoto introducing the GBA to Nintendo of America employees for the first time! This tape is dated 9/22/00, nearly 8 months prior to the GBA's US launch!
