This is routine now, and no coverage by Western mainstream media.
It's really cool when you ask a question here and someone takes their time to answer them so well!
This is how we are gonna defeat the bots, through mutual aid.
(Also, this result and derandomization in general is so cool!)
Imagine being fascinated by two very different notions in very different contexts, and then randomly stumbling across a talk which states that the two notions are exactly the same.
This is that talk, saying "Fiat-Shamir = derandomization using targeted PRGs"

The announcement has been due for some time, but I completed my MSc (yayyy)! My thesis is titled "Composition of Zero-Knowledge IOPs". The contents of the thesis remain largely the same as the paper: eprint.iacr.org/2026/307.

I dedicated my thesis to two little Palestinian girls: Hind and Leen. One of whom (Hind Rajab, 6yo) was brutally murdered during the Gaza genocide, and the other (Leen Al Farra, 4yo) whose smile continues to bring hope despite everything. Check out Leen's cooking: www.instagram.com/leenfromgaza/
