What do I think about all of this? A hundred things, often contradictory, mostly irritated
There’s an enormous difference between correlation and causation, but that’s of course not how this will be interpreted at all.

How do we deal with that contradiction? I really don’t know. But I hate it
I think as a depressed, neurodivergent teen I probably did use social media more than most, so there was a correlation. But that’s because I was pretty alienated and it gave community.
But also the landscape today is a million miles from my use of MySpace and MSN messenger and does sound toxic AF
