How does it work? The expression level of Paralemmin-1 controls the degree of periodicity of the MPS.
⬇️Low levels: poorly organized MPS
⬆️High levels: tightly organized MPS
Paralemmin-1 binds ßII-spectrin and is located in close proximity to actin and adducin
