When we work together the possibilities are limitless. The amazing folks at Academy Hill just donated over 40 laptops and numerous desktops, monitors, and peripherals. They save on recycling; we get to continue our mission of helping residents of Greater Springfield 🥳
MASSIVE THANKS to Academy Hill for donating this AMAZING collection of second-hand tech! Once we’re done refurbishing, we’re excited to get this all out into the community and into the hands of Greater Springfield residents in need!
W😳W!!!
Took apart and fixed a VirtualBoy today! Pretty fun little thing - you can see in the pics the way the reflective bit wiggles rapidly to give the image.
Standard eye piece not working issue - requires soldering the ribbon cable itself back in. Which fixed it! :D
We are truly grateful for the amazing donation of tech recently provided to us by Academy Hill! Check out the amazing work they do on behalf of their students and the community we’re proud to share at academyhill.org
Rock on, ye good stewards of the next generation 🤘🎸
Out walking my dog and notice a rusty vintage tv by my neighbor’s shop. Start talking, $5 later it’s mine and I’m making an offer on vintage Heathkit test equipment.
Have you wanted an Apple Lisa but finding one that's affordable has been... well, impossible?
Not anymore, with the LisaFPGA!
AlexTheCat has outdone himself with this one: emulate a Lisa or MacXL - rectangular pixels and all.

Happy Pride month, from VGAPride and my 60mhz Pentium running MS-DOS.

Fixed my car just in time for my friend’s car to break down. Cold and rainy, will look at it later when the rain subsides.
Driving the Audi and it seems to be running fine. Idling smooth, no error or warning lights, no codes. A few more small repairs then off to the inspection station where it’ll hopefully pass. It’ll be nice having a small economical car back on the road.
