There was a pretty significant turnout yesterday in Marblehead (certainly much higher than for town meetings), but if you lose, then suddenly it’s not that the majority doesn’t agree with you…it’s something else.

Congrats to Marblehead for barely hanging on to not having their town’s finances completely destroyed. They are by no means “in a good place” now, but they at least appear to be accepting the consequences of previous mistakes. marbleheadcurrent.org/2026/06/09/b...
