If this film not a pure AI product (and I'm pretty sure it's not), it's something even worse; a human-made film product that is trying to simulate an AI-film product. Who would want to do that? Zhang Yimou and team, apparently. As a surrender? A confession? A shortcut? A token of exhaustion? 4/5

Russia struck the Dormition Cathedral of the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra, setting its roof on fire. Built in the 11th century, the cathedral is the main church of the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Ukraine's most important Christian shrines.
It doesn't quite work: the camera's virtual POV keeps wandering, looking for that centring shot. Was SCARE OUT shot with this kind of technology? Zhang's cameras keep vaguely floating around the characters' heads, never quite finding the right framing. 2/5
