So, late on a Monday afternoon, the PA Supreme Court just ruled that skill games are slot machines and fall under existing PA gaming laws. This is a HUGE ruling ... so big the court delayed enforcement for 120 days, essentially telling the General Assembly to change the law if it disagrees.

Monday's ruling dispensed with the argument that "skill games" are not somehow equivalent to slot machines. Writing for the majority, Justice David Wecht wrote, "Under a plain reading of the law, 'skill game' devices are subject to both the Gaming Act and the Crimes Code."
