Perfection in nature 🥰
Perhaps my favourite penny of Edward III was found this on day, 6 years ago.
Third (Florin) coinage, type 2 dating to AD 1344-1351
Mint if London.
Just out of curiosity, I'm trying a different location. Slow going, but I'm not sure I expected much more.
These 3 found on a small out crop of London clay.

Wibbly Wobbly Water 😁
Medieval silver farthings.
These coins are tiny, no wonder they were readily lost. But still a significant lose. With this you could have bought 1/2lb of cheese, or even 1/2 dozen eggs.
