So shocked and sad to hear about the passing of @raulpachecovega.bsky.social . He was one of the most generous scholars I have ever known. I didn't even meet him in person, but his advice truly shaped how I write (and think about writing).

Yo tengo muy clara mi alineación política. Pero también tengo muy claro que uno, como persona que no vive en el país, no está en ninguna posición para hacer pedagogía política.

Me quedo con esta frase de ella sobre los retos de estudiar las violencias:
"El desafío es pensar en y desde las zonas de turbulencias, navegar el lenguaje, retar al aparato crítico, oponerle conceptos, crear categorías, abrazar la incertidumbre y mirar sin titubear, aunque el aire se agote."
