Light has a mentor among his secret group of rebels, the person who recruited him & taught him how to do all his assassin stuff.
Serena's mentor is Cassius, ofc! He also basically adopted her.

Mireia & Kena's main mentor is, of course, my grumpy queen Icozoue, who's still trying to figure out how she got saddled with these two goobers 😂
They have a few other teachers too, but Icozoue is the main one.

Noah has a few actual school teachers, but they're not really important to the story. The closest he has to a mentor is probably the Librarian, Mr. Gellar, or weirdly enough, Collector Mortimer.

Clara's first mentor is a respected Paladin named Integrity Sykes, who works with her dad. During her time in Terra Tenebrae, when she switches sides, she becomes a devoted student of Cassius.
Mem's main mentor is her Uncle Will, who is a Shepherd like her dad.
They are kids for a big chunk of the book & are definitely meant to be a bit goofy 😂
