The important part is that I play it. I will always play it until I am unable to. I have people to play it with. And while more could be better, I shouldn't let better be the enemy of an already great position.
Went to my local yesterday and played a new umvc3 player. It made me happy even though they have zero intention of playing more than once a month for 30 minutes. We had a nice time and I got to give him more advice. Then I got to thinking why don't others do this?
Not say everyone needs to play marvel. Some of the best people I know don't even play fighting games. Its just so strange seeing people say so much about marvel and then boot a harder game or a game they complain about or whatever.
And then earlier today I was talking to a friend about people not playing and stuff. So I got anxious. I was gonna post in a local discord "why no umvc3 or x or y?" But I think it ultimately doesn't matter. People are gonna have their reasons. It definitely makes me appreciate those who do play.
