I don't want to pretend this *isn't* shocking or ghastly but, like, when digital media experts are expressing concern generally about the data a game like Pokemon Go is collecting from day one, this is precisely the kind of end game they are thinking about.
It's this simple: if I find out AI was used in any capacity, I no longer care about that thing. It won't receive my time, money, or thought.
