Differences stemmed from the way researchers defined concepts, to the algorithms they used to analyze the data, to the parameters they employed when implementing the algorithms, note @mattiachini.bsky.social and Gaelle Chapuis. #neuroskyence www.thetransmitter.org/reproducibil...
We're organizing a full-day Neuro-AI workshop at OHBM with a 90-minute-long hands-on session to cover all the nitty-gritty of it. If you're around, come join us. Besides the practical aspects, we have a stellar line-up of speakers to learn from and discuss with: kuffmode.github.io/OHBM2026Neur...
Sounds bad. Also: "where careers depend on novel, significant findings, the same flexibility that produced innocent disagreement at a hackathon has far greater consequences. A researcher who needs a small p-value to complete a story may be swayed by an analytical pipeline that delivers it"
So, even in #electrophysiology, where data are often treated as “hard”, substantial disagreement can occur. They too depend on definitions, thresholds, preprocessing & assumptions. 🧵1/2

A must-needed benchmarking👇🏼 How much is methodological and how much is conceptual? A reason for us developing #rippl-AI github.com/PridaLab/rip... Don’t miss the next hackathon avant-FENS pre-fens-brainhack.github.io/brainhack2026/ with @acnavasolive.bsky.social & @mattiachini.bsky.social
