Can we just show each other a little bit of kindness and empathy instead of nitpicking every single thing people in our community do?
A completely ethical life is impossible with the systems in place. Let’s go after the systems, not the people bound to living within them.
I now know way too many jobless people. One of them is my live-in partner. Finding a job is incredibly difficult right now. Some people can’t even afford food. I’m seeing the homeless population grow. I’m seeing too many mutual aid asks to count them.
