Last night I tried to find an online match on Capcom vs SNK 2 on switch (Capcom fighting collection 2) and couldn’t pair with anyone ☹️
Is online really that dead?? Maybe one of you wants to throw me around someday.

I played through the Star Fox demo three times. It’s so good! 🤓
The HDR (on my OLED TV) looks AMAZING!
1986 seems kind of humble but holy shit the first game in the Zelda, Dragon Quest, Metroid AND Castlevania series, and the birth of beat-em-ups, JRPGs, and Metroidvania titles.
I can trace almost every game I enjoy today back to that (the big exceptions being platformers and shooters)

Nothing touches 2001 for video game releases… holy shit what a year!
I thought 1998 would make my top-5 for sure and it was tough to leave it off but it gets a VERY respectable honorable mention with: Ocarina of Time, Half-Life, Metal Gear Solid, F-Zero X, RE2, PD Saga, R4, and SF Alpha 3
The other parents won’t mind if I play switch while their kids perform at the orchestra concert. I’ve wanted to play that Star Fox demo all day. I’ll put it away when it’s my kids turn i promise.
