1980 in tabletop: March 31st, TSR’s UK subsidiary would be founded by Don Turnbull, TSR UK. It would start to compete with Games Workshop. Bryan Ansell (later major figure in GW) would also publish his own SF wargame rules, Laserburn in August 1980 with Tabletop Games (aka TTG).
