Our 13yo uses Youtube for: Music, math overviews, archaeology/history channels (many excellent ones), basketball drills, and Minecraft build ideas. He is supervised and comes to us with any questions about appropriateness. Teaching healthy Internet use makes later use safer. This is insane.
Imagine doing fun/active/creative things in supportive+enthusiastic groups of like minded humans. Endless meet cute opportunities and no matter what you'll make lots of new friends AND get super into healthier outlets. Hiking! Knitting! Birding! Gardening! All relatively low cost+good for the soul
The Agami Herons are back at Agami Island for nesting. They're a little later than they were last year because of the lower water levels, but over the next few weeks we should be seeing about 1,000 adults for the new season. #CostaRica #herons #birds
