I want to emphasize this because it’s trans history. In the 80s and 90s a lot of trucking companies paid well and covered transition care. There were a lot of trans women that took jobs as truckers, transitioned, and quietly disappeared into their lives. Nothing white collar about it.
i do not know if i will have this out by the end of Pride month like i had planned (am currently back in the day job interview mines trying to make ends meet) but i will try my damnest
page one and the cover were gonna be the biggest timesinks and one out of the two are now complete
