What I want (what I really really want) is Young Theory to be your old design; that'd be the funniest shit to me 😜 /hj
Ending with some horse-on-horse action I see~
AI is a financial black hole, propped up in effect by one bag of money being passed around between the major investors and only hardware manufacturers for it winning. If they want to profit, they'll have to offset that cost on the users, and for that it has to have some likability.
Companies that are using it in creative fields e.g. games and cinema are also receiving pushback with each announcement, & have started trying to hide or excuse its use; it's not merely an act done in silence.
They don't care about attitudes, but they care about profits, and unlike banks there's nothing AI needs to be used for, despite being pushed everywhere. More ways to challenge them is good, but can be done alongside a boycott, especially given as mentioned the environmental cost at play too.
The companies pushing for AI to be in everything want that attitude to prevail so that it can become integral since it's already massively unprofitable, & from surveys, unpopular with the wider public. That's before the ethical concerns regarding its effect on the environment & critical thinking.
Thanks again; they're all just so cuuuuuuute! :D 💜
