There is a wealth of wonderful medieval sculpture at Boyle Abbey, but this depiction of two dogs fighting is one of my favourite scenes.
Love how the mason depicted the poor dog's tongue lolling out! 🐶

A sundial that has likely seen more than 9.5 million hours pass since it was first erected some time around the 10th century.
Its had a lot of time on its hands* (*well, not that sundials have hands, but you know what I mean!)
