The Last Laugh is probably my least favourite episode of the whole show. Certainly the dullest, despite Captain Clown's best efforts.
Christmas With The Joker is more juvenile than the tone show eventually settled into, but Christmas episodes get more of a pass for that kind of thing.
DC did split their New 52 titles into groups as far as solicitations and such went: Justice Leauge, Batman, Superman, Green Lantern, Young Justice, The Edge, The Dark.
The Dark was a pseudo-Vertigo, The Edge was war, western... anything with guns. (1/2)

Some people say that Smilin' Stan Lee only invented great villains when he was "collaborating" with Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko! This is nonsense, of course. To bury this myth once and for all, here are some of the timeless baddies Stan concocted all by himself! 🧵
#1 THE MAGICIAN!
I would have been 5 when I first saw these early episodes. Heart of Ice's final scene made a big impression on me. Shirley Walker's score score was always phenomenal, but it was especially effective here. The best episodes really did feel like short movies.
One of the weaker episodes for sure. But is it any worse than the first couple of Joker episodes?
Yeah, under Robinson’s pen it was a 21st century re-imagining of the classic Earth 2 mythology. After he was gone it just became a dark Elseworld about Superman and Batman characters. Can’t even enjoy Robinson’s run in isolation, it’s an unfinished work.
