I understand your cynicism but I truly believe in our collective voices to force the apology. Canada is behind in righting this wrong. Multiple countries have already issued apologies and in the process of reparations. The more we speak truthfully the more pressure they will face. The time is now!
Grieving another loss in our community today. It brought me back to why I eventually had to step away from frontline outreach. I wrote a reflection on upstream work, downstream realities, and the toll of carrying so many losses.
