Surgery intern year ✅! This has been a busy year but one that has left me with an appreciation for the role of surgery in multidiscplinary oncology care, and where I have grown as a physician. Onto rad onc this week!! ☢️💕👩🏻‍⚕️ #radonc
We found that while there are more women in medicine than ever before, inequities in leadership attainment by women persist across all roles studied. These findings suggest that systems and organizational level changes are essential to recruit and retain diverse leaders in academic medicine.
